The Laboratory

In the Environmental Engineering laboratory experimental activities regarding national and international research projects, research contracts for providing scientific and technical support to public agencies and public or private companies are carried out. In particular, the laboratory is specialized in the following activities:

  • Physico-chemical and environmental characterization of water, soil, sediments and various types of materials among which municipal solid and industrial waste and process and treatment residues;
  • Feasibility testing of physico-chemical treatment processes applied to soil, sediments and other types of materials aimed at the removal or immobilization of organic and/or inorganic pollutants and at the valorisation of the final products.
