Researcher at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. She received her degree in Environmental Engineering in 2008 at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” with a thesis on the Benchmarking of different advanced oxidation processes for hydrocarbon-contaminated sediments. In 2007 she also attended a three month stage in the Italian Environment Agency (ISPRA) analysing the Remediation activities implemented in the national site of Porto Marghera. She earned her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2013 at the University of “Tor Vergata” investigating the carbonation of minerals and industrial residues. During her PhD, she carried out a seven month research period at the Institute of Process Engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. She collaborates with various national and international research projects among which the Life+ “Upgas-LowCO2” project. Recently, she is involved in several research projects on the development and assessment of different technologies for the remediation of contaminated sites.
