Researcher Tenure Track (RTT) of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. She received her degree cum laude in Environmental Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” with a thesis on the Benchmarking of different advanced oxidation processes for hydrocarbon-contaminated sediments. She earned her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2013 at the University of “Tor Vergata” investigating the carbonation of minerals and industrial residues. During her PhD, she collaborated at the European research project Life+ “Upgas-LowCO2” and carried out a seven-month research period at the Institute of Process Engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. Currently, within the research group of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, she is involved in several research projects on the development and assessment of different technologies for the remediation of contaminated sites and wastewater advanced treatment. In 2017 she achieved the national scientific qualification as associate professor in Italian Universities for the disciplinary field 08/A2 (Sanitary and Environmental Engineering). She is author of about 40 papers published in national and international journals and several papers presented at international scientific conferences.
