ReconnetThe research group of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering has promoted the constitution of the Italian network on the management and remediation of contaminated sites Reconnet. The network stems from the agreement between Universities, Research Institutes and Environmental Agencies, with the objective of contributing to the solution of the principal technical and regulatory open issues related to the management and remediation of contaminated sites, encouraging collaboration and promoting contacts and the exchange of information between research agencies, environmental protection agencies and companies. • encourage collaboration and promote contacts and information exchanges between research agencies, environmental protection agencies and companies; • identify solutions for the principal technical and legal issues associated to the management and remediation of contaminated sites; • transfer and disseminate information through databases, websites and other media of electronic diffusion; • organize conferences and seminars; • identify the main topics for theoretical and technical development. Reconnet is open to all the agencies and public or private companies that share the goals of the network.
